A lot of changes have been happening here, on all fronts, so it’s taking some getting used to our new schedules. Most recently, my chef is taking his career in a slightly new direction…. baking! He brought home this loaf of focaccia he made on his first day on the job. I thought it was too beautiful not to snap a photo. Delicious too.
The darker side of baking though, is the hours. I’ve hung quilts over our windows to help him sleep through the daytime hours. It will definitely take some getting used to.
