Tying up loose ends… painfully slowly. But in spite of it feeling like a ‘meh’ day, it’s turned out rather productive. Sent out some more fabric designs to be printed this morning; two weeks sounds like forever to get them back! I can’t wait. Highlight of my morning: Trader joe’s applewood smoked uncured bacon ends and pieces with onions and swiss chard. Yum.
I got so frustrated with the nonsense I was working on, I pulled out my knitting machine to cheer myself up…
and finally got underway with some holiday cheer. I don’t know why I always think Thanksgiving is so far away from Christmas… all of a sudden I feel like the sprint is on. So I’m knitting stockings. Probably a procrastination technique… but a very therapeutic one. Thank goodness I have my old sketch book with my knitting machine notes… it’s been a couple years and I am rusty. First stocking attempt: a disaster that took way too long. Much better the second time around.
And I’ve even managed to set up December advent candles this year.
