As everyone is prepping for the spring holidays, I am getting ready too... with more spring designs! (It comes a bit later up here in Maine, so I think I've still got time).

As suggested by Serena, Pink Dalas and cherry blossoms! (In progress here)
. I had too much fun with this design to pick one tea towel.... so I did a couple color ways.

....And baby blankets in the works!

Mmm Kladdkaka for breakfast! What’s your preference, Swedish kladdkaka or the classic American brownie? (For those unfamiliar, I recommend you try it- plenty of recipes online, quick and simple. And delicious).
Also…. what’s your take on these two little guys? I picked them up for 25 kronor at Ronneby’s Brunnspark a few years back (an amazing flea market if you haven’t been!). I like to think they are someone’s take on Moomin trolls.

May 1

It’s May! Unbelievable. ‘April Showers’ didn’t quite seems to happen this year, and as hard as it is to say with this gorgeous weather we’ve been having… I hope we get some rain!

I dug up an photo of the May 1st bonfires on Öland (that happen all over Sweden), but given all the tumult in the world lately, I thought this field of dandelions (also on Öland some many years ago) would be much kinder on the heart and eyes. Happy May!
