MADE IN THE USA
We care strongly about responsibly producing quality, handcrafted items, and try our best to do so locally.
We outsource the printing of our fabrics to a domestic fabric print company in the USA. Digital printing is an environmentally friendly process, using Eco-friendly, water-based inks on natural fabrics. All textiles (excluding our shower curtains) are sewn and hand finished here in the studio in Portland, Maine.
Our ceramic mugs are MADE IN THE USA, and printed here in the studio. All other ceramic and glass items are printed locally, here in Southern Maine. The 'blanks' (tiles, etc) are produced in the USA, Mexico, and China. We understand this is a concern for many, and while we would prefer to source exclusively from US companies, that is not always an option. If you require further details, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Payment is required upfront, and orders will not ship until payment has processed. We accept credit card and payment via PayPal.
Orders within Maine will be charged the 5.5% sales tax.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Orders ship via the USPS. Shipping charges are calculated based on size, weight, and destination, and include packaging and handling. While most orders ship within 5 business days, please allow up to 2 weeks for processing. We create our items in small batches and on the rare occasion, items sell out and we need to have more fabric printed, or order blank tiles, etc.
Custom orders require 2-4 weeks for processing.
Please be sure to read item details carefully as we do not offer exchanges or returns for size or other attributes listed clearly in item descriptions. Dimensions, materials and care instructions can be found in the product listings. Please contact us with any questions prior to placing your order.
All shipping and customs costs are non-refundable.
If your purchase is damaged during shipping, please contact annika [at] lilleputtstudio [dot] com immediately with photos of the issue. We will do our best to replace the item and accommodate requests, within reason.
As all of our products are printed at different times, there may be variations in color between different print batches. While we do our best to keep our colors consistent across all our products, there may be slight color differences on the different substrates (fabric, glass, ceramic, etc).
